The Admissions Process

Visit us! Please book a place on one of our Open Mornings

Registration for a Reception place is strongly recommended from birth and can be completed by submitting the online Registration Form. A non-refundable fee is required to secure a pupil’s registration, however, this does not guarantee that a place will be offered. Parents will receive a letter from the Admissions’ Secretary acknowledging payment of the registration fee.

We operate a policy of sibling priority and will then offer according to the date of registration. Further places may be offered to children remaining on our waiting list.

Children are then invited to meet with the Head of Lower School or the Headteacher for an informal chat. This usually takes place approximately 15-18 months before the Reception year commences.

On receipt of an offer letter, parents have 7 days in which to accept a place. At this stage a deposit of £3000, a signed acceptance form and proof of identification are required.
Half of one term’s fees (at the new academic year fee cost) will be payable in advance on the first day of the preceding Summer Term. Both the deposit and half of one term’s fee are non-refundable on withdrawal of an accepted place before attendance at the school. The deposit will be returned to parents once the child leaves Year 6, subject to all outstanding fees being settled.

Once a place has been confirmed and accepted, all relevant joining information will be sent.

Additional Info

Children can be admitted at any stage throughout the school, providing spaces are available. All admissions are at the discretion of the Headteacher in accordance with the school’s admissions policy, legal requirements and signed copies of the school’s terms and conditions and parent contract.

A prospective child may have a taster morning at the school at any time, in agreement and by arrangement with the Headteacher.
