Kew Green Preparatory School opened in September 2004 and I have the privilege of being the school's first head teacher. I am also a director of London Preparatory Schools Ltd, the owning company.

In 1991 my fellow directors and I founded Ravenscourt Park Preparatory School in Chiswick, London W6, and Kew Green is our second school. It is housed in a beautiful building backing onto the Thames and with Kew Green cricket pitch at the front and the famous Royal Botanical Gardens next door, the site is a haven of peace and quiet.

You can have every confidence that Kew Green will provide an education of the highest quality for your child. Unlike many private schools, LPS Ltd is owned by fully qualified and experienced teachers who understand that effective learning is achieved without pressure in a warm and nurturing environment. We are committed to co-education, opposed to "cramming", and work on the basis of keeping pupils from age 4 to secondary transfer at 11 years. Within this timescale we are able to allow children to develop at their own pace, providing a rich curriculum where Music, Art, Sport and the Humanities are given a full weighting with Maths, Science and English. We strive to inculcate in our pupils a proper self-esteem and respect for others. Above all, we want our children to be clamouring at our gates every morning and to show a marked reluctance to leave at the end of the day!
