Behaviour

We encourage and expect good behaviour from our pupils. This is based on a whole-school ethos of care and tolerance for others rather than on a long list of rules and regulations. The primary purpose of discipline in a school is to allow effective learning to take place. A calm and ordered environment is needed for this and all our pupils are expected to behave accordingly. High expectations in behaviour, as in learning, generally produce excellent results.

The Headmistress reserves the right to exclude any pupil for bad behaviour pending discussions with parents and, ultimately, to require the removal of a disruptive pupil from the school.

The school expects all pupils to attend at all times in full school uniform. Homework must be attempted to the best of a child's ability and handed in on time.
